2, 3 & 4 Yard Dumpsters
The standard size for a 2 yard bin is 6′ long, 3′ wide and 3′ high. It can hold 2 cubic yards of garbage, which is equivalent to about a dozen 33-gallon trash bags, or four 96-gallon containers.
A 3 yard container is 6′ long, 3.4′ wide and 4′ high. It can hold 3 cubic yards of trash, which is comparable to about eighteen 33-gallon trash bags, or six 96-gallon containers.
The typical size of a 4 yard bin is 6′ long, 4.5′ wide and 4′ high. It holds 4 cubic yards of garbage, which is equal to about twenty-four 33-gallon garbage bags, or eight 96-gallon trash cans.
6 Yard Dumpsters
A 6 yard slant container is typically 6′ long, 6′ wide and 5.25′ high. Dumpsters this size hold 6 cubic yards of trash, which is comparable to about thirty-six 33-gallon trash bags or a dozen 96-gallon garbage cans.
